WOOF!

My name is Mattia Vegni, aka BAU, I’m an illustrator, graphic designer and tattoo artist from Florence, Italy. My main influences are the Pop and Queer cultures and I always combine them with my personal idea of aesthetic. My journey began in a small Tuscany village where only 500 people live, goes through my design and art history studies and reaches the digital graphic and digital art which are the places where today I express my artistry. I reject the normalcy because I believe it represents the death of creativity and self-improvement. I hope this small journey into my world will make a difference in your life and if you want to tell me about it I’m always happy to listen.
